Pride month especially now when people are once again being singled out and persecuted for being different needs to be celebrated. That is LGB and T and any of the other non conforming strands of gender and sexuality. If you don't understand it educate yourself. If you are scared of the unknown go to a pride event. It is celebrating love and freedom to be who you feel you are. It is celebrating the ability we are fortunate to have in law to go out and proclaim our existence in all of it's many shapes and forms in public. We must as spiritualists be able to do this. We are that spark of divine essence or soul first and then we borrow a body for a lifetime, our spirit, the essential us-ness that our friends and family know us by is wrapped around this. It is brought forward as we work through mediums after death, however our soul is genderless and love transcends everything [soulmates for example] If we reincarnate it maybe in a body of a different gender to the one we are in now, just as it may have a different accent or skin tone, the us-ness will be that of the new body but our soul the core of us is the same connection of divine love. We need to think of ourselves and everyone else as part of this loving bubble of humanity.
