Trueself

This meme raises an important point.. when do we allow our trueself to show? For some it is when you can escape from oppression, for others self acceptance has to come first. Doing the right oŕ expected thing is also sometimes the reason we don't do this. If you have kids you run the gauntlet of school gate mums and worry if your child will be teased. You don't want to upset or embarrass older relatives. It doesn't matter if it is about gender, sexuality, nerdiness.or just embracing whatever it is you love doing or being you should not restrict yourself. There comes a point in all our lives when we realise we can't win by trying to please everyone else, that is when we normally say .. my turn .. when we live a truly authentic life without hiding our difference is when we are true to our self our soul.
