Water-lilies

The meaning of the water lily is purity, good fortune, enlightenment and spiritual unfolding. It has roots in the mud but rises above the surface to bloom, at night it closes and sinks back into the muddy water but rises again at dawn untouched by the murk it had been surrounded with.
